Bucks locked Up

These are pictures of two white tailed deer Blair and Jeff found locked together, one deer was already dead, eaten clear to the rib cage by coyotes.  With help from Kevin Lazowski and Johnny Turko, Blair and Jeff were able to free the live deer.  It is a rare occurrence to see something like this.

Right side shed scored 90 6/8

Jeff Trout with a set of sheds found in 1996, Jeff found the one on the right, it scored 90 6/8 inches, he won first place in the youth shed antler contest in Big Buck Magazine. 

Blair found the antler on the left. The following year Blair found the right antler. The left antler was found by someone else.

This is the last time we saw Old Grandpa, he always came back to the same wintering area, although we never saw him until his last few years, all we found was his sheds.  We estimate him to be about 10 years old in this picture.
